According to theorm 7.3.2, there are 1-12 old technological civilizations in our galaxy that operate interstellar space travel.
Really old civilizations, those that have existed for several million years, will have seen some species evolve, evolve and die out again over the course of their history.
Our civilization, with its little more than 300,000 years, is quite young in comparison with the "galactic" periods shown. We only reached technological level 6200 years ago and are in the process of developing planetary level 7. On the galactic level (level 8) we are at best newcomers.
Old alien civilizations may have visited and contacted humanity since the beginning of its development. It seems that they also left a number of traces (e.g. cave paintings) on humans.
This makes the following hypothesis possible:

Earth and humanity could, in the past, have been visited several times by alien species.

According to sentence 6.6.1, there are probably 3 - 71 technological civilizations in our galaxy that operate interstellar space travel. It is therefore likely that they will still visit us today. The UFO phenomenon can be used here as an indication.
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is an American organization dedicated to scientific research into the UFO phenomenon since 1969. It is one of the largest and oldest organisations worldwide in this field and has branches in several countries of the world, also in Germany, represented by MUFON-CES. [11]
UFO sightings have been documented since the 19th century and to date there are over 70,000 cases at MUFON alone in Hangar 1.
And part of it can be explained by the extraterrestrial hypothesis. This allows the following hypothesis to be made:
