1.5 - G-Stars with Planets

Planets From 42,000 sun-like star systems, 603 were identified as planetary. This corresponds to a share of 1.4357 % with respect to solar-like systems. The probability factor is therefore:

Fp = 0.014,357 = 603:42,000 = 201:14,000

Related to all star systems A in our galaxy, the number Np of solar-like star systems, with planets, results to:

1.5.1 Equation Np = A · Fs · Fp

Applying all factors in equation 1.5.1:

1.5.2 Theorem The number of solar-like star systems, with planets, in our galaxy is probably 0.402 to 1.206 billion.
